A little bit about me.......,I'm creative.

I think that when a person makes something (a book, sculpture, painting, or photograph, etc.) out of nothing, they have the satisfaction of: 1. solving problems and, 2. exercising gifts and abilities, and, 3. they have the joy of helping others in some meaningful way.

It is with great joy that I share a few of my thoughts and projects with you. I might even be so bold as to suggest that there is a fair amount of wisdom and good advice in the books, and that they may be of great help if you struggle in an area they touch on. Thanks, KENT

UNDERSTANDING THE IMPORTANCE OF
DIFFERENT

The chicken/duck or the egg argument is pointless. Both are necessary. Why the hostility? THIS BOOK, guides you on a little personal journey as you discover your problem with different ideas, situations, and people. It helps you become the person you always wanted to be (open, tolerant, accepting, and gracious) and it helps you in your relationships with friends and employees.

Why are some folks a problem for you? What unfounded prejudices do you have? How can you or your company embrace diversity, invention, and the difference between individuals. Different must be okay. You have no choice in the matter.

"Different must be okay and if properly understood it is a welcome part of our technicolor life." Unfortunately, I must add this. This book is not about racial diversity or any other kind of diversity (as we now think of the term). It is about what happens when two people enter a room, and try to get along, and try to have a conversation that is respectful and leaves everyone feeling understood and cared for. That ain't being "woke", it's just being self-aware, secure, and kind.

DEPRESSION
Depression, everybody's doing it! Those with severe or longstanding feelings of hopelessness need immediate help, a new perspective, encouragement, and specific things to try. This book takes you in the right direction as we discover what God says about you and follow some of His suggestions. Most folks struggle at one time or another. That's the human condition. DIFFICULT CONVERSATIONS

This book aids the church, those in a family, and our friends in the LGTBQ community (or those with a sexual identity concern) as they seek to understand, share, and communicate with each other. 
I want all of us to understand how to communicate, express ourselves, and disclose our fears and concerns in a way that maintains friendships, expresses love, and heals families. I want to believe, and in fact I have to believe, that honest, straight-forward communication will dispel rumors, ease tensions, and bridge gaps.
When we learn to a appreciate each others positions, we can then have meaningful conversations.
